Can I order some takeaway pizzas?
Yes, you can order takeaway pizzas from the venue if you come in and order them at the bar, we will have them ready for you shortly afterward and you can even enjoy a drink while you wait
Can I host a group event of X people here?
Yes, we host large and small events. Please contact functions@ducanebrewing.com.au with your query and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
Do you have a private room? Is there a charge?
We have a private dining room that can seat up to 40 and we have a large function space that can seat up to 140 or 200 people for a stand-up cocktail style event. Please contact functions@ducanebrewing.com.au with your query and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
Do you have gluten free options?
We serve gluten free options for all our pizzas and have a number of gluten free dishes on the menu. We put nothing gluten based in our deep fryer so you can rest assured there is no cross contamination there
Do you serve vegan options?
We have a number of vegan options on the menu that use a delicious locally made, soy-based vegan cheese on our pizzas when required.
Do you use nuts in your kitchen?
Our kitchen is nut-free.
Do you only serve beer?
No, we serve a full range of Tasmanian, beers wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverage as well as coffees and teas.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, well behaved pooches are welcome, and we have the following rules for anyone wanting to bring their doggo.
- Well behaved pooches only, please
- Please ensure your furry friend isn’t bothering other patrons, especially when eating
- No pups on the grass at any time
- Dogs love the outside – they’re ALWAYS welcome in our laneway
- Keep leads on at all times – even the best boys can get a little too excited sometimes
Do you charge cakeage?
We charge a cakage fee of $10 per cake for birthdays and special occasions.

We always have several limited release beers on tap, come in and our friendly staff can
give you a rundown of what’s new on tap

Can I do half/half pizzas
The toppings on our pizzas cook at different rates and so we’re unable to do half and half pizzas. You are more than welcome to share a few pizza with your crew so you can sample the many wonderful flavours we have on the menu.
Can I bring in external food to the venue?
We don’t allow external food in the venue with the exception of cakes / cupcakes for birthdays and special occasions. We find our menu offers something for everyone and kids are usually always happy with a Margarita Pizza, chips and a delicious Tasmanian made ice-cream.
Are children welcome?
We are a family friendly venue, and children are more than welcome. We have a children’s climbing wall and play area, colouring books and pencils and a parents room equipped with a change mat, nappies and wipes
Do I have to book a meal?
We welcome walk-ins but it’s always a good idea to book first and you can book online here
Is there parking available?
There is usually plenty of parking around Princes Square across the road from us, and there is a council car park / parking lot 100 metres up the road at 48 Elizabeth St, Launceston
Do you offer brewery tours?
At this stage we don’t offer brewery tours however the brewery is situated just behind the bar and you’re likely to run into a brewer during your visit (excluding weekends).
Are tastings available?
We offer tasting paddles accompanied by tasting notes. We have 2 paddles on offer Base Camp for our standard / more regular beer styles and Summit for the more adventurous drinker. We can always accommodate limited releases on these paddles should be want to substitute one of these instead.
